Adventureland Resort Season Update

Restrictions

The State of Iowa has removed capacity restrictions from Adventureland. Tickets purchased online will be accepted any one day in the 2020 regular season. We encourage all guests to purchase their tickets online in advance and scan them at the front gate from their phones to minimize waiting in lines on the day of their visit.

We ask our guests to please be patient, as some venues and attractions may not be open right away and some attractions may close periodically for deeper sanitation. Guests will notice extensive new signage, hand sanitizer stations, frequent disinfection of high touch surfaces and spacing of employees and guests. We look forward to welcoming you for a safe summer full of FUN!

Guidance For Our Guests

Adventureland is thrilled to have received the approval of the State of Iowa to reopen to the public for the summer! We want to thank our full time and part time staff for all of their help and our guests for your loyalty and patience. Adventureland takes our responsibility to our guests very seriously and as we ramp up for the season, we want to provide some best practices for your upcoming visit.

We ask all our guests to:

*Stay at home if you are sick, have a fever or have been exposed to Covid-19

*Wash your hands frequently

*Allow extra time for bag checks, park entrance, boarding and exiting attractions

*Please leave a 6 foot distance between your group and others

*Use hand sanitizer as needed, and avoid touching your face

*Where possible, avoid touching railings and gates

*Follow rules and directions from attendants and posted signage

*Accompany and closely supervise children to help ensure proper social distancing

*Guests may wear masks or face coverings if they wish to do so, but it is not a requirement for entrance.

Adventureland will be:

*Screening employees daily prior to their shifts

*Utilizing PPE for employees where required

*Frequently sanitizing high touch areas such as railings, entrance/exit gates, tables and chairs

*Displaying extensive signage to help remind guests of the need for social distancing - especially in queue lines

*Providing hand sanitizer stations throughout the park for guests and employees

*Spacing out tables in seating areas

*Opening initially with limited hours and attractions to ensure proper procedures are solidly in place

*Closing some attractions periodically throughout the day for deeper sanitation

*Seating guests on rides by group, and leaving empty seats/rows when needed

*Adventure Bay is open daily at 10am

*Attractions past the Dragon Island Bridge will close at 6pm or 7pm (posted daily at the front gate), although the rest of the park may be open longer. Park hours can be found on our calendar at www.adventurelandresort.com/calendar

Fountain Drink Refillable Cup Program for 2020:

*Guests may refill any "2020" dated souvenir cup this season. Adventureland will provide a disposable cup to fill for each souvenir cup refill. The disposable cup should be discarded after it is used to refill the guest's souvenir cup.

* New souvenir cups may be purchased for $10 and refills are $1 each. No other vessel is eligible for refill pricing of fountain drinks at this time.

With help from our team members and guests we know we can make Summer 2020 a memorable one at Adventureland, and continue our tradition of providing family fun to the Midwest! Further inquires can be directed to info@adventurelandpark.com
