Know Before You Go

Your safety, and the safety of our team members, is always our top priority. To ensure a seamless entry into the park and for the most enjoyable visit possible, we’ve enhanced our security procedures for the 2024 season. We are fully confident in our plan, and we want to help you be prepared before you visit the park.

Chaperone Policy
Guests aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years of age (with a valid ID) to enter the park after 4:00 p.m.

Entrance Policy
All guests pass through our weapons detection system, which uses advanced digital sensors, at the front gate. Signage is in place to inform guests they are entering a security screening area.

Bag Policy
Adventureland allows one bag per guest with a maximum size of 15” x 15” x 15” into the park.

Guest Code of Conduct & Safety

For your safety and enjoyment at our Park, please carefully read all of the text below. Failure to follow any of the regulations, conditions and instructions set forth below may result in serious injury to yourself or other individuals. Individuals not following Park rules and safety instructions will be subject to immediate ejection from the Park without refund.

  • Alcoholic Beverages

    Alcoholic beverages may be purchased by guests 21 years of age or older. Proper ID is required to purchase and / or consume alcohol.

    No alcoholic beverages can be brought into Adventureland. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the park must be consumed before leaving the park. Guests who are intoxicated may be removed from the park without a refund. Adventureland reserves the right to take further action against impaired guests where appropriate.

  • Smoking and Vaping

    Adventureland Resort is an entirely non-smoking & vaping property. We request you do not bring cigarettes or vape pens beyond the main front gate. Cigarettes or vape pens may be returned to your vehicle. Adventureland reserves the right to confiscate any and all contraband items.

  • Behavior

    We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Any profanity and unruly behavior are considered offensive to other park guests and could be ejected from the park without a refund.

  • Children/Teens - Notice to Parents & Guardians

    Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior of their minor children. Appropriate behavior and supervision are the responsibility of the parent/guardian. The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors. Parents/guardians may be held legally liable for all acts of the children under their care.

  • Dress Code

    To ensure that all guests visiting Adventureland can enjoy their visit, and in keeping with our family-friendly environment, as well as for health and safety reasons, Adventureland maintains and enforces a dress code. Guests should dress casually and comfortably as is appropriate for the local weather. All guests must wear proper attire, such as shirts/tops, shorts/pants and footwear, at all times within the theme park.

    Guest should wear a cover-up or shirt/top and shorts/pants over their bathing suits while enjoying the theme park.

    Adventureland reserves the right to deny admission to or remove anyone whose attire does not comply with the Guest Dress Code or could detract from the experience of other guests if the guests refuse all reasonable options. Guests requiring accommodations to our Guest Dress Code should visit Guest Services and speak to a member of the park management team upon arrival at Adventureland.

  • Language

    Guests should not use profanity or abusive language, symbols, or gestures towards other guests and our Team Members. Guests who do so may be ejected from the park without a refund.

  • Line Jumping

    Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests who choose to leave a line for any reason may not return to the same spot and must reenter at the end of the line. Guests are not permitted to save spots for other guests. Violators will be ejected without a refund.

  • Food, Drinks, Hard Coolers

    Adventureland permits only unopened bottled water and bottled sports hydration drinks into the park. Hard coolers are not permitted. All other beverages, including soda/pop and energy drinks, are not allowed inside Adventureland Park. Empty refillable water bottles may be brought into the park and filled at bottle-filling stations located at the Chicken Shack, Dragon Island Bridge, Outlaw Gulch, and Adventure Bay.

  • Restricted Areas

    Guest areas are strictly prohibited from entering restricted areas, including rider and backstage areas. Guests should contact the Ride Attendant or Lost and Found/Security to report lost items. Lost personal items will not be retrieved during operating hours. Guests must not attempt to retrieve their lost items. Guests who enter a restricted area may be ejected from the park without a refund. Adventureland reserves the right to take further action where appropriate.

  • Bag Check

    Adventureland reserves the right to inspect all guest's packages, purses, backpacks, and fanny packs prior to entering the park. Sharp objects, weapons and illegal contraband will not be permitted in the park. Please leave any unnecessary articles in your vehicle to expedite your entry. We recommend that you secure such items in the trunk of your vehicle.

  • Pets

    Pets are not allowed into Adventureland. Valid service animals are an exception to this. Service animals may be restricted from riding most rides inside Adventureland Park. Service animals must remain on leash and in the guest's possession at all times.

  • Prohibited Items

    In addition to items defined in our Guest Code of Conduct and other park policies, the following are prohibited items:

    • Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind.
    • Any kind of hazardous chemicals or other substances, including acids or other items which appear suspicious to Park personnel.
    • Mace/pepper spray and other self-defense or restraining devices.
    • Marijuana (including marijuana-enriched  products) or any illegal substance.
    • Fireworks or other similarly explosive and/or flammable objects.
    • Spiked clothing/jewelry.
    • Glass bottles (excluding small containers such as baby food jars).
    • Spray paint /markers.
    • Recreational devices such as drones, remote-controlled devices, laser pointers, scooters, skateboards, and shoes with built-in wheels.
    • Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices.
