Who & What We Are
Adventureland is a resort comprised of an amusement park, water park, hotel, restaurant, and campground located in Altoona, IA , just east of Des Moines off I-80 exit 142. Participants of the Workamper program work primarily in the amusement park. Each summer Adventureland provides entertainment for well over 600,000 guests!

2024 Workamper Program
The Adventureland Workamper program provides a free hook up campsite that includes electric, water, and sewer. There is no contract or time commitment, but there are bonuses for working through the end of the season! You will be paid for all hours worked at the rates stated in the Workamper brochure. This program is a unique and fun way to be a part of the Adventureland team! Click below for more information.
