When you provide a meal for your group, we will provide one of our specially designed picnic facilities free of charge!

Palace Theater 

Can accommodate approximately 800 people. Fully enclosed and air-conditioned. Located at the front of the park just past the carousel. Stage and A/V rental available.

Festival Picnic Grounds

Can hold up to 500 people. Open-air venue, but still fully covered. Located across the road from the Space Shot entrance - you still feel like you’re in the park having fun. Stage and A/V rental available.

Gazebo Picnic Grounds

Can hold approximately 300 people. Open-air venue, but still fully covered. Nestled back by our chapel stage, you have your own truly secluded area. Stage and A/V rental available.

Private catered meals are prepared for groups of 75 people or more. For groups of fewer than 75 people, a $275 set up fee will be charged. All catering arrangements must be confirmed through Adventureland’s Sales Department at least two weeks prior to your group’s visit.

Adventureland will need a guaranteed number of people for meals one week in advance of your picnic. You will be charged for your guarantee plus any meals served over that number. Tickets will be issued for all picnic meals. Each person served a meal, including those three years old and younger, will need a meal ticket. All meals subject to Iowa state sales tax.

  What extra items can we offer our employees/members?

Parking Tickets

Start your group's day at the park off right by pre-paying their only necessary expense for them with pre-paid parking tickets. A separate ticket will be issued with your admission ticket order. Parking tickets are billed on redemption and will assure your group's day begins with them appreciate what your company has given them. 

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers truly customize your group's outing. Vouchers can be created for almost anything from an ice cream cone or kettle korn to beach towers or stuffed animals. Pricing will be unique to each request and your sales consultant will be happy to assist you with ideas to fit your group. These tickets are generally billed on consumptions, but may very depending on what you choose for your custom voucher.

 Can I get married at Adventureland Park?
 Yes! We do occasionally have wedding ceremonies at the chapel or in our picnic facilities while the park is in operation. We require a $750 non-refundable deposit to book the location for a ceremony. This deposit covers the rental of the facility and the coordinator’s time and expertise. In addition to this fee, any person entering the park would need to have an admission ticket.

If you are interested in having your reception at the park, we can accommodate that as well. We do all our own catering in-house, but you would be able to bring in a cake. We do allow decorations; however, most of our facilities are outdoor venues and are used as event spaces for corporate outings. This needs to be taken into consideration when coordinating the time to decorate the facility.
